Dr. Scholl's For Her Comfort Insoles

I recently received a pair of Dr. Scholl's For Her Comfort Insoles in my Mama Voxbox courtesy of Influenster. I was super excited because I've used these insoles before and love them!  I wish I could have a pair for every pair of shoes I own!

These ones I put in my Toms which I usually wear on my days off to run errands in. They made me love my Toms even more than I did before. I can run multiple errands and be on my feet for hours and not even realize it.

These insoles would be great for work too. I'm so glad I got another pair of these amazing insoles to add to my collection!

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

Another item that I received in the Spring VoxBox 2012 was the Broadway Nails impress Press-on Manicure.

The impress press-on manicure is a revolutionary way to apply polish.  You simply peel off the film, apply them to your nails and you're done.  There is no dry time and they will last up to a week.  They come in solid colors as well as patterns.

The pattern I received is called "Over the Moon."

Each box contains 24 nails in 12 different sizes which I found very useful.  I have especially small nails and when applying fake nails in the past I always had to cut them down to fit.  However, there were sizes to fit each of my nails perfectly included in the imPESS press-on manicure.

The product was very easy to apply.  Just as advertised you just peel of the film on the back of each one and stick it to your nail.  I was careful not to press too hard at first in case I wanted to reposition (which I did).  Once I got the perfect placement I pressed on them firmly to set them in place and they felt very sturdy.

I did not wear them for too long as I am caring for my 8 week old and have no time for long nails to get in the way, so I can't judge how well they stay on over time.  They are a bit long for my taste as well so if you're used to shorter nails you might have a harder time with them.  The pattern I received was not my favorite, but they have so many other patterns and solid colors to choose from.

Overall, this is a product I liked.  I wouldn't use them regularly, but if I had an event to attend or was going out of town for a long weekend I'd give them another shot.

Tastykake Kandy Bar Kakes

Recently I received the Spring VoxBox 2012 from Influenster and it had a lot of great goodies in it.  One treat in particular was a Tastykake Kandy Bar Kake.  I had never heard of these before so I was super excited to try it.

Kandy Bar Kakes are chocolate covered cakes that come in a kandy bar shape with a delicious créme filling made with candy flavors. They come in s'mores, peppermint, and peanut butter.  I received the peanut butter flavor in my box.

How good does that look???

The appearance of the kake was very nice, it looked absolutely delicious.  The chocolate on the outside was very smooth and creamy and the cake was soft and moist.  The overall peanut butter flavor was a bit lacking for me.  They advertise the peanut butter flavor as Reeses, but to me it did not taste anything like Reeses peanut butter.  However, I did devour the entire thing and I would eat another one in a different flavor.

Refrigerator Oatmeal

Being that I am taking care of a newborn these days, it can be very difficult to find time to eat, shower, and sleep.  One thing that has made my life a bit easier is eating overnight refrigerator oatmeal for breakfast.  I can make it the night before and grab it out of the refrigerator whenever I am up with baby in the morning.

There are a ton of recipes out there for this oatmeal, but I came up with my own that suites my taste buds and fills me up!  Also, oatmeal is really good for lactation, just FYI :)

What You Need:
- 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
-1/2 cup milk (I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
-1/4 cup yogurt (I use nonfat greek plain)
-1 T chia seeds
-1/2 T honey
-strawberries

What You Do:
Mix everything together in a mason jar or Tupperware, put lid on, and place in refrigerator. DONE! EASY!
